EDUCATION

With the bardic intent always in mind, we strive to find new strategies for dealing with the challenges modern-day Education experiences. The bard this year has worked in education for over 15 years and is fully aware of how powerful helping anyone find the 'voice' is; the teaching of English being more and more about analysis now rather than expression and creativity. This can be remedied in Northamptonshire though - with the bard wanting to go into schools and colleges, setting up workshops and support for students of all ages, promoting not just the idea of poetry and story-telling, but stressing the importance of being heard.
